Zenica Tunnel – Ponirak - Vraca Motorway Project (Bosnia and Herzegovina)

The Ponirak - Vraca section, implemented as part of Corridor Vc, is a key infrastructure project in Bosnia and Herzegovina, both for its strategic importance and engineering complexity. Located along this corridor, the Zenica Tunnel stretches 3,360 meters, making it the longest tunnel excavated on Corridor Vc and comprising approximately 90% of the section.

The project is financed by the European Investment Bank (EIB) under the framework of the Western Balkans Investment Framework (WBIF). Corridor Vc connects Budapest (Hungary), Osijek (Croatia), and Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) to the Port of Ploče (Croatia), enhancing regional trade and transportation integration.

Our scope includes oversight of tunnel construction, infrastructure systems, electromechanical installations, and safety systems implementation.
